deep singed maple bowl

This bowl was carved from a solid piece of maple.
This piece is fairly deep for its size, making it well suited for serving at a party or for personal snacks.  It can also be left out between parties as a unique display piece. 
 
The outside texture is deep and tactile, and has been singed with a torch to highlight the pattern.
 
Finished in a plant-based, food-safe oil.
