Carved from solid cherry, this piece evokes movement and flow.
 
Emil Milan, the mid-century atrist, crafted sleek bowls pushing the material to wonderful places.  Inspired by his forms, yet grounded in the traditional Sweedish/sloyd methods of my training, this piece redefined my own approach to the material and process.
